PUCHONG: The body of an unidentified man was found hanging from a bridge near Kampung Kenangan, here, on Thursday night.

The deceased, believed to be in his 20s, was found by a man who was fishing nearby.

A spokesman of the Subang Jaya Fire and Rescue station said a call informing them of the discovery was received at about 8pm.

"We arrived several minutes later and spent about an hour and a half trying to bring the body down.

"The body was about 40 to 50 feet dangling above the water," he said.

The spokesman added that at the time of the discovery, it was believed that the man had just died.

"Judging from the condition of his body, the man might have died less than two hours," he said.

The body had been sent to the Serdang Hospital for post-mortem.
