Ban on mobile soup kitchens after Raya

PETALING JAYA: Soup kitchens affected by the 2km ban within the radius of Lot 10, Kuala Lumpur, can continue operating as usual, for now.

Speaking at a meeting with 12 non-governmental organisations (NGOs), Federal Territories Ministry secretary-general Datuk Adnan Md Ikhsan said the directive, announced by Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor last Thursday to much consternation from the public and soup kitchen operators, would only be enforced after Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
