KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department Tuesday issued a warning of strong winds and rough seas for Sabah following the detection of Typhoon Rammasun 1,125 kilometres northeast of Sandakan, Sabah, at 8am.
It said in a statement that the typhoon was detected at 12.7 degrees North Latitude and 125.6 degrees East Longitude and was moving westwards at a speed of 25km per hour.
