KUALA LUMPUR: A senior citizen with Parkinson’s disease since 2004 has become the first patient to have open brain surgery at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) Medical Centre here.
“He is currently doing well and we expect to take him off his medication gradually,” said neurosurgeon Dr T. Jegan.
