BINTULU: The government has classified the Iban, Bidayuh and Orang Ulu ethnic groups in Sarawak as Bumiputra in government forms with immediate effect.
Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas said the decision was made during a recent Cabinet meeting.
