PETALING JAYA: English will not be made a compulsory pass in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) from 2016 as earlier planned.
The Examinations Syndicate has put the decision on hold. It said in a four-paragraph statement that the postponement was to “allow teachers and students to have more time and opportunities to prepare”.
