Himpun 16: Public order restored following rally

KUALA LUMPUR: Aside from the chaos in Petaling Street which saw officers arresting two protesters and unleashing water cannons on an unruly crowd, police said public order around the city has been restored.

Police will maintain their presence around the city centre to ensure that no more violence occurs, said city police chief Comm Datuk Tajudin Md Isa.
