MOONCAKES in China are taking the road less travelled, featuring “weird” fillings made of instant noodle, garlic puree, chives, coriander, fermented bean curd, beef and even preserved vegetables.
A report in China Press said fish-flavoured, garlic puree and chives mooncakes were among the “weirdest” in China.
