CYBERJAYA: A special tribunal comprising syariah and civil court judges should be set up to settle inter-religious disputes, including child conversion.
Malaysian Muslim Lawyers’ Association president Datuk Zainul Rijal Abu Bakar said that because of the country’s dual legal system for Muslims and non-Muslims, problems would remain unresolved if laws were not amended to address the issues.
