Rapid project creates 54,000 job opportunities in Johor


PENGERANG: The mammoth Refinery and Petrochemicals Integrated Development (Rapid) project here will create some 54,000 job opportunities, including 4,000 permanent jobs, upon its completion scheduled in 2019.

Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Ahmad Maslan (pic) said the project is important to the oil, gas and petrochemical industry, especially in terms of job opportunities for locals.
