JOHOR BARU: An unemployed man who claimed to work for the Johor Ruler was nabbed for duping a victim out of more than RM50,000 by saying he could help free his father, who is being detained in Singapore.
State police chief Comm Datuk Wan Ahmad Najmuddin Mohd said the victim lodged a report on Monday, saying a man had used the Johor royal institution to cheat him.
