GEORGE TOWN: Only a trustee board assigned by the state government can protect heritage properties which were once the retirement homes of Penang’s mah-jeh, Cheah Kongsi chairman Peter Cheah said.
Even with so many owners for each house, Cheah said a few surviving heirs could still get a court order for them to sell if they could prove that the other owners or heirs have died.
