KUALA LUMPUR: Former MIC strategic director K. Ramalingam and seven former party members failed to get leave from a High Court to initiate judicial review proceedings against the Registrar of Societies (RoS).
High Court (Appellate and Special Powers) judge Justice Hanipah Farikullah held that the applicants had no locus standi or legal standing to bring the civil action as they were no longer party members when the suit was filed.
