Kedah wins Malaysia Cup after thrilling penalty shootout

PETALING JAYA: Kedah have emerged champions for the fifth time in Malaysia Cup history after a spectacular win over defending champions Selangor in the penalty shootout of the 90th Malaysia Cup final at the Shah Alam Stadium on Sunday.

Rizal Ghazali converted the final spot kick after eight rounds to win the trophy 6-5 on penalties after Selangor's Mohd Rizal Fahmi's attempt hit the crossbar.
