PETALING JAYA: Property developer SP Setia deeply regrets the collapse of a pedestrian bridge under construction at the company's Abdullah Hukum project site.

"At approximately 3.30pm, the pedestrian link to Mid Valley which is still under construction gave way. Fire and Rescue Services, police and medical services together with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health were immediately notified of the incident. The project team is still assessing the situation and is working closely with the relevant authorities," said SP Setia in a press release on Wednesday.
