KUALA LUMPUR: Thousands of Malaysians gathered at the Titi­wang­sa Stadium to protest the alleged state-sponsored “ethnic cleansing” of the Rohingyas in Myanmar.

Traffic along Jalan Tun Razak, which is usually light on Sunday morning, was at a standstill as early as 8am as participants thronged the street on foot as they headed to­­wards Stadium Titiwangsa, shouting slogans denouncing Myanmar for being cruel towards the Rohingyas.
