KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian mountaineer Syed Redzuan Syed Salim Shatri, who was found dead on Mount Damavand in Iran, was planning to climb Mount Everest in Nepal next.
He joined the Iran expedition as part of his physical preparation for the Everest climb in two years’ time, said his youngest son Syed Syaqir Adhli, 18.
