Tg Aru beach to be off limits from next March

KOTA KINABALU: The popular Tanjung Aru beach here is expected to be closed to the public from March for a multi-billion ringgit redevelopment project that is going ahead despite public concerns.

Assuring residents that the city’s iconic beach and park will be gazetted for public use, Kota Kinabalu mayor Datuk Yeo Boon Hai said among others, reclamation works were scheduled to start in March.
