Parents shocked as pre-school has no place for their children

Standoff: Parents waiting at the locked gates of Tadika Wesley Methodist. They had refused to leave the premises until the matter of their children not being enrolled was resolved.

KUALA LUMPUR: It was a drama-filled first day at a kindergarten for a group of parents and their six-year-olds when they were told that there is no place for them.

The parents of 19 children were unhappy that their children were not enrolled in Tadika Wesley Methodist operated by the Kuala Lumpur Methodist Church, despite having indicated their interest in sending their children last year.
