BUTTERWORTH: A minor fire caused by a malfunctioning fuse box at a private old folks’ home in Jalan Raja Uda here has raised grave concerns.
State Welfare Committee chairman Phee Boon Poh said the concerns were over the density and competency of the staff at such homes in handling emergencies as some of the residents could be disabled or bedridden.
