PETALING JAYA: Biologist and nutritionist Nils Bokström (pic) believes fats that have been used since ancient times, like palm kernel butter, are necessary for a healthy lifestyle.

“In nature, you will find saturated fats in abundance. We should go back to basics when it comes to food, for answers on how to restore our own health. And saturated fats are key in this process,” said the co-founder and head of the Institute for Integrated Regenerative Medicine in Kuala Lumpur.
