KOTA BARU: The Nenggiri state seat is now vacant after its assemblyman Datuk Mat Yusoff Abd Ghani (pic) was declared a bankrupt, says Kelantan state assembly Speaker Datuk Abdulah Ya’kub.
Abdullah said the Kelantan state assembly received a notification from the Selangor branch of the Malaysian Insolvency Department on May 28 to inform them that Mat Yusoff, who is from Barisan Nasional, was bankrupt effective Nov 9 last year.
