Workers rescue over 600 dogs from shelter


GEORGE TOWN: Over 600 dogs in an animal shelter had to be helped to higher grounds after an overnight downpour flooded the shelter in Teluk Bahang on Friday.

The shelter of Penang Animal Welfare Society (4PAWS) was waist-deep in water and its fence collapsed when a tree fell on it.
