KOTA KINABALU: A Sabah Forestry Department study has found that oil palm trees are good for forest regeneration efforts.

Chief Conservator of Forests Datuk Sam Mannan said researchers found dipterocarp trees grew well when planted in places where oil palm trees had been illegally cultivated.
