Budget 2018: Sabah and Sarawak get biggest slice of rural infrastructure development pie


PETALING JAYA: Budget 2018 will see a RM6.5bil allocation for infrastructure development especially within rural areas, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak (pic) announced in his Budget 2018 speech.

The biggest slice of the pie will be channelled towards the building and upgrading of not only roads in Sabah and Sarawak, but also basic infrastructure from broadband internet connections to clean water.
