Shafie vows to carry on political fight

KOTA KINABALU: Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal was released after an eight-day remand in connection with a probe into the alleged skimming of RM1.5bil in Sabah development funds and has vowed to carry on his political fight.

However, the troubles faced by the Parti Warisan Sabah president, who was out on a RM100,000 bail by a magistrate’s court, are far from over because he is likely to be brought back to court next week to face graft charges, according to sources.
