RM27mil worth of fireworks, ciggies and beer confiscated in Sarawak

SIBU: The Customs Department has confiscated smuggled goods with a market and tax value of RM27mil from two areas in Sarawak.

Speaking at a press conference Wednesday, its director-general Datuk Seri Subromaniam Tholasy said the 12 containers confiscated here and in Sarikei contained fireworks, cigarettes, and beer from China that had been misdeclared as other goods.
