Legal tussle over management of 105-year-old temple


GEORGE TOWN: A tussle has broken out over the management of a 105-year-old Hindu temple in Prai after its former committee chairman obtained an injunction against the Penang Hindu Endowment Board (PHEB).

The board is now planning to file an application to set aside the ex-parte injunction granted to the plaintiff, named Ayapan M. Muniandy in court documents, by the Penang High Court on Monday.
