GAMBANG: Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) is the latest campus in the country to go cashless and will be the first to use a blockchain technology said to be virtually unhackable.

With the technology, students and staff can download the UMP’s XChain app, which allows them to make payments of bursaries or at cafeterias and stores, using only the mobile wallet.
