Man who killed Tharani was on sick leave, says colleague

KUALA LUMPUR: The individual who killed D. Tharani called in sick the day she was murdered, said a colleague who declined to be identified.

He said the suspect, 37, said he was not coming in that day as he was on medical leave for two days.
