Sarawak cops arrest 106 in illegal gambling crackdown

MIRI: In an ongoing blitz against illegal gambling in Sarawak, police arrested 160 individuals in 97 raids during a week-long operation which ended Sunday (Feb 11).

Sarawak Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Chief Datuk Dev Kumar said the raids were conducted from Feb 5 to 11 involving selling of illegal 4D, cyber-gambling, gambling in a gaming house, and gambling in a public place statewide.
