SPAD: Malaysia to have tram services soon

KUALA LUMPUR: The Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) is looking at implementing a tram system in Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, Kajang and Bangi for a more efficient transport solution and better connectivity for Malaysians.  

Its chief executive officer Mohd Azharuddin Mat Shah said the proposed 53km network would be linked to the MRT 1 line in Kajang and the upcoming MRT 2 and High Speed Rail (HSR) lines.
