PETALING JAYA: Landmarks around the world are going dark for an hour on Saturday (March 24) as the global Earth Hour kicks off, raising awareness about the impacts of climate change.

Kuala Lumpur's famed Petronas Twin Towers, the Gardens by the Bay in Singapore and the Harbour Bridge and Opera House in Sydney, Australia were seen observing the call.
