Barisan pledges to abolish motorcycle toll on Penang Bridge

GEORGE TOWN: Toll will not be collected for motorcyclists using the Penang Bridge if Barisan Nasional retakes Penang, says Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak.

"There will be no toll for motocycles if Barisan wins the state," the Barisan chairman pledged in his speech at the 'Balik Pulau bersama Perdana Menteri' at SMK Seri Balik Pulau on Thursday (April 12).

He also pledged to initiate 12 medical and health projects in the state.

"There will be more if Barisan wins and you must ensure our victory," he said.

Najib said Barisan had been taking care of Balik Pulau and had initiated several development projects there even though it did not form the state government.

"The opposition brought misery to the people with floods and higher water tariff".
