PORT DICKSON: As a young boy, R. Thinalan would follow his two-term assemblyman dad to visit his cons­tituents.

His late father was former Port Dickson assemblyman Datuk T. Rajagopalu who lost the then state seat and Barisan Nasional stronghold following the political tsunami in the 2008 general election.
