Mild earthquake hits Niah in Sarawak

KUALA LUMPUR: A magnitude 3.9 mild earthquake hit Niah, south of Miri, Sarawak at 5.52pm Monday.

The Meteorological Department in a statement said the epicentre was located 429km west of Tarakan, Indonesia, and 95km south of Miri.
