PETALING JAYA: MCA has urged clarification on how the figure of RM1tril in government debt was calculated.
In a statement on Wednesday (May 23), Wanita MCA vice chairman Senator Datuk Ong Chong Swen (pic) said there were differing figures pertaining to the amount, and there was a large discrepancy between recent numbers released by Bank Negara Malaysia and Prime Minister Tun Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad's claims.
