Gobind: Move to repeal Anti-Fake News Act to be tabled in Parliament's first meeting

KUALA LUMPUR: The move to repeal the controversial Anti-Fake News Act 2018 is expected to be brought to Parliament during its first meeting on June 25, said Communications and Multimedia Minister Gobind Singh Deo.  

He said his Ministry was in the midst of preparing the paperwork but the government needed to consult the Attorney-General's Chambers and other relevant stakeholders before they abolish the law.
