GEORGE TOWN: The state government has come forward to debunk a viral message urging all senior citizens to visit Pakatan Harapan assemblymen’s service centres to sign up for a yearly free medical card worth RM700 and bereavement payouts worth RM2,500.
Penang Welfare, Caring Society and Environment Committee chairman Phee Boon Poh said the messages circulating on social media were fake and a tactic used to create unnecessary issues.
