Pakistani jailed over forgeries

KUALA LUMPUR: A Pakistani accountant was sentenced by the Sessions Court to seven years and eight months’ jail, a RM50,000 fine and three strokes of the rotan after he pleaded guilty to two charges of owning fake Immigration stamps and passports that belonged to other people.

Abdullah Qayyum, 26, made the plea after the charges were read out to him before judge Wan Mohd Norisham Wan Yaakob yesterday.
