Woman cheated of RM6k in 'change luck' scam by online 'Sifu' (master)

KUALA LUMPUR: A damsel in distress who wanted to change her luck saw her fortunes take a turn for the worse.

"She lost almost RM6,000 in six transactions to the same local bank account, that carries the bank account name of Tan Chun Lian, who is also suspected to be a victim in this scam," said MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head, Datuk Seri Michael Chong, in a press conference today (July 24).
