KOTA KINABALU: Gender was not a barrier for Second Lieutenant (Leftenan Muda) Norliana Mad Said (pic), 25, to enlist in the Malaysian Armed Forces and follow in her father’s footsteps.
Norliana said growing up, her father had always been her source of inspiration, and it further strengthened her resolve to join the army last year.
