GEORGE TOWN: Amidst the opposition of the Penang Transport Master Plan (PTMP) by non-governmental organisations (NGOs), a group of locals gathered to hand over a signed petition in support of the project.

Representatives stood with a banner and cardboard posters outside the State Assembly building along Light Street here, supporting the project as they expressed their woes of being stuck in traffic jams to get to work and back from the Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone.
