GEORGE TOWN: It was a lively affair with many of the pupils jostling their way among the crowd to participate in the Merdeka celebration at SJK(T) Subramaniya Barathee.
The event started with the singing of Negara Ku and the state anthem, Untuk Negeri Kita, at the school in Bukit Gambir on Friday.
