KUALA LUMPUR: Three candidates for the Kuala Lumpur mayor's position have been shortlisted and will be announced next week, says Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad.

“(The appointments are) not internally from Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL). We have selected them from government officers; some are former, while others are still serving.
