KUALA LUMPUR: Two men who allegedly cruelly killed a cat were the first to be charged under the Animal Welfare Act 2015, said Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Selangor chairman, Christine Chin.
The men who were recorded on closed-circuit television (CCTV) putting a pregnant cat into a running dryer at a launderette, causing its death, have claimed trial at the Selayang Sessions Court.
