KUALA LUMPUR: Former Sabah Umno youth chief Yamani Hafez Musa (pic), whose whereabouts are unknown and who has yet to take his oath of office as Member of Parliament, will lose his eligibility to become an MP if he fails to take his oath within the stipulated time.

Speaker Datuk Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof said Yamani, who won the Sipitang parliamentary seat in the 14th General Election, should be aware of his position as detailed in the Federal Constitution.
