Budget 2019: Ku Li questions whether higher allocation for MACC is to 'catch' people

KUALA LUMPUR: With an increase of allocation for the Malaysian-Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) in Budget 2019, former finance minister Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah (pic) has asked whether the funds would be use to "catch" more people.

Tengku Razaleigh said there was nothing new in the Budget presentation and it was just a repetition "of what was introduced in the past".
