Allocation halved, but Primary Industries Ministry will soldier on

PETALING JAYA: The Primary Industries Ministry has seen its allocation cut in half in Budget 2019 compared to the year before, but this will in no way deter it from continuing to seek growth in the agri-commodity sector.

Its Minister Teresa Kok (pic) said in a press statement on Friday (Nov 2) that the allocation for this year was RM507mil in total, which amounted to a 50.7% reduction.
