IPCMC Bill to be tabled in first Parliament meeting next year

KUALA LUMPUR: The government will soon table the long-awaited Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) Bill in the first Parliament meeting next year.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Liew Vui Keong said the setting up of the police oversight body, to replace the Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC), was in line with Pakatan Harapan's (PH) election manifesto to tackle and investigate matters concerning police integrity and misconduct.
